The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from JoKa as Diaz shoots in.
JoKa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
JoKa stuffs the takedown.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says JoKa as he avoids it easily.
Kim JoKa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Diaz.
Diaz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around JoKa's waist but JoKa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diaz off to one side.

JoKa tries to sprawl but Diaz drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Diaz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
JoKa won't allow Diaz to pass to mount.

Diaz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

JoKa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diaz pulls his head out easily.

Diaz is trying for a kimura here. JoKa looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Diaz wins by kimura!

In his post fight interview, Diego Diaz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
