Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nova Uniao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain comes to the cage accompanied by I Love this Road (Emerson Drive). Nova Uniao has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nova Uniao!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Uniao.
Uniao slips a straight right by Cain.
Cain lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Nova Uniao has been cut.
Cain clobbers Uniao with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Uniao drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cain has his foot on Uniao's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uniao works his way back into a safe position though.
Cain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Cain is looking for a triangle but Uniao pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cain looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Uniao has picked Cain up and slammed him! Cain can't keep hold of the triangle and Uniao manages to pass to side control!
The ground and pound from Uniao seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Uniao lands a decent elbow from side control.
Cain gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Uniao seems to be looking for submissions.
Uniao scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Cain looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Uniao lands with a punch from half guard.

Cain gets full guard.
Uniao content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Uniao is pushing down on Cain's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cain is fighting to maintain full guard but Uniao has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cain is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Cain tries to buck Uniao off but Uniao is having none of it.
Uniao tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Uniao moves into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cain is desperately trying to improve his position but Uniao has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cain wants to control but Uniao is having none of it.
Cain can't escape the position.
Uniao is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cain can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Uniao landing strikes from the mount and Cain is in trouble!
Cain tries to lock up and control but Uniao gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cain takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Uniao's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nova Uniao!
