Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gotrek Felix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gotrek Felix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Banner!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner feints a jab promting Felix to slip. Banner then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Felix slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Felix misses with a combination
and Banner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Felix tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Felix moves forwards but Banner connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Felix swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Banner counter with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Banner pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Felix back to the cage. Banner follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Felix throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Banner's waist but Banner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Felix off to one side.
Banner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Banner dodges the punch combination from Felix.
Banner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Felix throws a body punch but Banner moves out of range.
Banner misses the shot to the body.
Felix throws a right hand that Banner ducks under and follows up with a left that Banner also avoids with ease.
Felix throws a big shot that misses.
Felix looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Felix misses with a jab, cross combination.
Felix fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Banner lands a left and a right that send Felix crashing to the mat, dazed. Banner thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Felix is rocked!
Felix throws a nice looking combination but Banner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Felix goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Banner bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Felix's head backwards.
Oh Felix is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banner drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Felix's head, knocking him out cold! Banner is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jesse Banner!
