Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Red Bevan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Do De Bilha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Do De Bilha will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Red Bevan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Do De Bilha!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from De Bilha. Those never looked like landing.
De Bilha ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
De Bilha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bevan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
De Bilha checks the leg kick nicely there.
De Bilha shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Bevan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in De Bilha's guard now.

Bevan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

De Bilha is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Red Bevan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Bevan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down De Bilha's shoulder. That is not cool.

Bevan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but De Bilha is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bevan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bevan is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. De Bilha can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


De Bilha tries to clinch there but Bevan circles away.

and De Bilha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
De Bilha shoots in looking for a takedown but Bevan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Bilha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bevan moves forwards but De Bilha connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Bevan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks De Bilha with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bevan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes De Bilha off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bevan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
