Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gary moves out of range of the strikes.
Pena uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gary.
Gary darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Puntti Pena has been cut.
Gary waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pena.
Pena jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Pena closes the distance and pushes Gary back into the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Pena throws an elbow but misses.

Pena escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pena. Gary does a little dance to reset his feet.

Puntti Pena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pena throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Gary swings wildly with an uppercut but Pena uses good head movement to avoid it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pena creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Pena tries to land knees in the clinch but Gary avoids the damage to the body.

Pena lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gary or not.

Pena gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pena keeps control of Gary as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gary tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pena's elbow.

Gary is trying to force a seperation but Pena has the dominant position.

Pena rushes Gary and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gary tries to circle away but Pena has him pinned against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A body shot lands from Pena.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gary blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Gary is trying to force a seperation but Pena has the dominant position.

Pena digs a right hand into Gary's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Gary's gas tank.
Gary is breathing heavily.

Pena breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pena uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gary.

Pena rushes Gary and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pena lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gary backwards.
Pena lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pena's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pena steps in with a hook that catches Gary right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Pena follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Gary looks absolutely devastated.
