The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kato moves in looking to clinch but Moore pushes him off.
Kato fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it.

Moore trying to control the position but instead, Kato has worked for underhooks and has pushed Moore into the cage.

Moore lands a nice hook to Kato's body. Kato takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Moore throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kato looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kato shoots in for a takedown but Moore shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Moore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kato looks to land a combination but Moore avoids it well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kato throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Moore fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kato looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Benzi Kato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kato throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kato throws a sloppy head kick and Moore moves out of range easily.
Moore jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kato is defended easily by Moore.
