The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Skovich looks for a takedown but Marley sprawls well.
Marley stuffs the takedown attempt from Skovich. Skovich gets slowly back to his feet.
Damian Marley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skovich throws a right hand that Marley ducks under and follows up with a left that Marley also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Skovich counters with a nice double leg into side control. Marley won't be happy with that.

and Marley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Skovich throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Skovich counters with a single leg into guard. Marley didn't expect that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marley is rocked!
Skovich postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Marley badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Skovich around the waist but Skovich pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Skovich is the winner by TKO! Skovich jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
