Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Burt The Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Manix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manix throws a shot to the body.
The Hurt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Manix defends well against a solid takedown attempt from The Hurt.
The Hurt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Manix as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burt The Hurt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The Hurt is trying hard to land a takedown here. Manix sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Manix connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between The Hurt's hands.

The Hurt is rocked!
Manix finds The Hurt's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! The Hurt flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Manix lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure The Hurt will be OK.
