Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philmore Butts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lord Vladimir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimir has chosen Who Run It - Three Six Mafia as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimir moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Butts throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vladimir uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Butts has time to react.

Vladimir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Butts but Butts pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Vladimir catches Butts with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Vladimir is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Butts had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Vladimir counters with a single leg into guard. Butts didn't expect that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Butts wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Vladimir manages to pass to side control.

Let's hope that Vladimir has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Butts is trying to stand.

Vladimir is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Butts is just riding it out for now. Vladimir eventually gives up the hold.
Vladimir seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Butts does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A relieved looking Lord Vladimir thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
