The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deeds defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Manderlin.
Manderlin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Deeds defends it nicely.
Manderlin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Deeds as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mickey Manderlin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Manderlin fails with a takedown attempt.
Manderlin shoots in but Deeds avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Manderlin misses with a hook
and Deeds counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Mickey Manderlin has been cut.
Deeds sends Manderlin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Deeds is motioning to the referee to let Manderlin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Deeds is stalking Manderlin. Manderlin circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Deeds, and it's lights out! Manderlin really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
