PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Dickinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hurt might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Slayer - Here Comes The Pain. Dickinson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Frank Klepacki - Hell March 2. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hurt has managed to clinch.

Hurt decides to pull guard.

Hurt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dickinson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dickinson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hurt trying to keep a closed guard but Dickinson is proving a slippery customer.
Hurt is pulling down on Dickinson's head to control his posture.
Hurt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dickinson!
Hurt lands a big elbow.

Hurt sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Dickinson looks gassed!
Hurt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dickinson for as long as he can get away with.
Hurt is landing with some decent strikes but Dickinson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Hurt in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Dickinson is rocked!

Hurt looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Dickinson covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
