Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deisel Noi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rousimar Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noi comes to the cage accompanied by Butts, Butts, Butts, Butts..... Palhares has chosen arrival to earth as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Noi. No joy for Palhares on that attempt.
Palhares drops his hands momentarily and Noi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Noi lands with a good body shot.
Noi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Palhares looks to clinch
and Noi counters with a head kick.
Noi cracks Palhares with an open hand slap.
Palhares shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Noi as he jumps to the side.
Noi connects with a body shot that sends Palhares's belly button to the back.

Palhares looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Deisel Noi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rousimar Palhares.

Palhares shoots in looking for a takedown. Noi tries to sprawl out of it but Palhares keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rousimar Palhares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Noi cracks Palhares with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Palhares shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A left lands for Noi.
Palhares closes the distance looking to clinch
and Noi counters with an outside leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Noi. That's going to slow Palhares down.
Noi feints and then cracks Palhares's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Palhares down.

Noi lands a head kick!
Noi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Palhares at a distance.
Noi lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd cheers as Noi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Palhares doesn't seem phased though.
Palhares walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Palhares is trying desperately to land a takedown but Noi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Palhares.
Jab by Noi.
Noi scores with the left hand. Palhares knows he should have avoided that one.
Noi lands a jab to the head.
Noi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Noi thuds a left hand into Palhares's body.
The crowd cheers as Noi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Palhares doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Noi scores with a head kick.
Palhares is rocked!
Palhares on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Palhares is still on wobbly legs! Can Noi finish him?
Palhares looks up at the clock. Bad move! Noi lands a right hand from hell, dropping Palhares. Noi pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deisel Noi!
Deisel Noi took some time post fight to say the following; 'Nothing comes close to having your hands raised when you're not supposed to. When its not supposed to be. It's defiance. There's nothing sweeter than defiance.'.
