Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Westworth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Keiji Kawada!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westworth throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kawada.
Kawada doesn't manage to clinch there - Westworth circles away.
Kawada misses with a few strikes there.
Kawada moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Kawada's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Westworth breaks from the clinch.
Westworth comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Westworth throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kawada dives in and grabs Westworth's left leg, looking for a takedown. Westworth pushes down on Kawada's head and hops out.
Westworth darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kawada has Westworth up against the cage in a clinch.
Westworth misses with a body punch.
Kawada escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kawada fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Westworth throws a one two combo.
It looks like Keiji Kawada has been cut.
Kawada ducks right into an uppercut from Westworth.
Kawada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Westworth's waist but Westworth gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kawada off to one side.
Westworth stuffs the takedown.
Matt Westworth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keiji Kawada.
Westworth sizes up Kawada with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Westworth missing with a left hand there. Kawada was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Kawada throws a body punch but Westworth moves out of range.
Westworth misses with a series of wild punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kawada.
Matt Westworth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oooooh!!! Westworth has knocked Kawada down with a huge combo! Westworth steps away and waves a wobbly Kawada back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Kawada is rocked!
A shot to the liver by Westworth. Beautiful body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kawada is defended easily by Westworth.
Keiji Kawada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kawada has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Westworth finds it's way round the side to connect with Kawada's head.
Kawada is trying desperately to land a takedown but Westworth is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kawada.
Kawada shoots in but Westworth avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kawada tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Westworth manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kawada throws a sloppy head kick
and Westworth counters with a nice uppercut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kawada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kawada wants to clinch
enabling Westworth to counter with a crisp jab.
Westworth misses with a looping right.
Kawada closes the distance looking to clinch
and Westworth cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kawada has Westworth up against the cage in a clinch.
Westworth tries to work over Kawada's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kawada blocks a body shot from Westworth.
Westworth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kawada misses with a series of wild punches.
Kawada forces Westworth back against the cage and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Westworth will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kawada up against the cage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Westworth dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Keiji Kawada's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A decent looking cross lands there for Westworth.
Westworth is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Kawada shoots in and drives through. Westworth sprawls well.
Westworth is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kawada tries to clinch up but Westworth circles away and keeps his distance.
Westworth paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kawada finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Westworth gets in close and tags Kawada with a short punch that almost sends Kawada to the mat! Oh Kawada is in big trouble! He turns his back on Westworth, trying to create some distance but Westworth rushes him, striking wildly and Kawada goes down! The referee tackles Westworth into the cage to end the fight! Westworth is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Westworth!
In his post fight interview, Matt Westworth started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
