Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johan Falk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Maake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falk's entrance music is Bane - Ante Up. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falk rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Maake counters with a left to the body.
Maake looks to land a left hand but Falk moved out of range nicely.
Johan Falk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falk looks to throw the jab but Maake is out of range.
Nice shot lands for Falk.
Falk steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maake.
Maake swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Maake makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Maake cracks Falk with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Maake with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Falk to score with a decent uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maake connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Falk's hands.
Maake is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Falk.
Maake bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Falk fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maake looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Maake loads up on a big right hand but Falk slips the punch.

and Maake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Maake bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Falk's head.
Maake might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

After the fight, Cedric Maake was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
