Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gert Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Schnitz Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gert Muller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Schnitz Burger!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Muller keeping moving, preventing Burger from controlling successfully.
Burger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Muller thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Muller working for a triangle but Burger defends it easily.
Muller wants to stand up but Burger is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muller keeping full guard, as Burger tries to pass.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Burger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Burger trying to control but Muller is working from the bottom.
Burger won't allow Muller to sweep him here.
Muller is working hard here to advance position.
Burger cracks Muller with a solid left hand.
Burger wants to control from the top but Muller keeps moving.
Burger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Burger stops Muller from standing up.
Muller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burger on the ground.
Burger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Muller's guard.
Muller is looking for a sweep. Burger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Muller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Burger.
Burger wants to take a breather but Muller is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burger is working for a submission of some sort.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Muller is trying to maintain the position but Burger is very close to passing his half guard.

Burger prevents Muller from improving his position.
Burger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muller keeps working.
Burger looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Muller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Burger moves into full mount! Muller won't be happy about that!
Burger is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Muller has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Muller!

Muller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Gert Muller has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Muller thows a body shot but no joy.
Muller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Burger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Muller tries to clinch there but Burger circles away.
Burger takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Muller looks for the body kick but Burger saw that one coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Schnitz Burger dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Burger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Muller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Burger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Burger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Muller tries to clinch but Burger moves out of range.
Muller really is a fat lump.
Muller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Burger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Burger pulls guard effortlessly.
Muller wants to stand and escape but instead Burger has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Burger working some strikes from top position.
Burger is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Muller is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Muller has escaped and now he's on top!
Burger has a closed guard, preventing Muller from standing up.

Muller stops Burger from standing up.
Muller wants to control from the top but Burger keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Muller engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We're going to have a standup here because Gert Muller wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Muller wants to clinch
and Burger counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Burger trying to control the position from guard on top but Muller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Burger wants to pass the guard but Muller is keeping the position.
Burger passes into half guard.
Schnitz Burger has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Burger wants to take a breather but Muller is having none of it.
Burger passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Muller!
Burger goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Muller turns into him and now he's in Burger's guard.
Muller tries to free his leg and advance position but Burger is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Burger is trying to keep Muller in close.
Muller looking to pass the guard.
Muller is looking to pass into half guard but Burger pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Burger is in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Burger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Burger drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Muller manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Burger has Muller in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Schnitz Burger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Muller tries to clinch there but Burger circles away.
Muller is looking to clinch.
Burger drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Muller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Muller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Burger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Muller throws the kick towards the body but Burger avoids it.
Burger circles away from the clinch attempt
and Burger counters with a nice uppercut.
Burger avoids the body shot from Muller.
Muller moves to clinch but Burger breaks away
and Burger counters with a takedown into side control.

Burger tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Muller struggling a bit here.
Muller tries to buck Burger off but Burger is having none of it.
Burger is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Muller is trying to escape and Burger transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Muller is forced to tap! Nice work there by Burger! Very nice indeed!
