Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creyonte connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sonnen. Sonnen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sonnen lands a body shot.
Creyonte doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sonnen walks into a jab.
Sonnen swings for the body but Creyonte moves out of range.
Sonnen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Creyonte connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sonnen misses with an uppercut
and Creyonte counters with a three punch combo that has Sonnen backing up. Sonnen nods at Creyonte to acknowledge the strikes.
Creyonte tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sonnen. Creyonte does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sonnen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Creyonte as he jumps to the side.
Nice defenses there by Creyonte.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sonnen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Creyonte moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Creyonte fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sonnen manages to avoid it.
Creyonte connects with a body shot that sends Sonnen's belly button to the back.
Creyonte throws a series of punches but Sonnen avoids them all with ease.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Sonnen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Creyonte backwards.
Sonnen avoids the elbow strike from Creyonte, against the cage.
Sonnen is trying to break free.
Creyonte comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Ryan Sonnen has been cut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sonnen.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Creyonte throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sonnen blocks it with crossed arms.
Sonnen scores with a shoulder strike.
It looks like Koral Creyonte has been cut.
Creyonte has clasped his hands together around Sonnen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Creyonte postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sonnen parries the strikes from Creyonte easily there. Creyonte is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sonnen to escape.
Sonnen explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Creyonte shoots for a takedown but Sonnen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Creyonte fails to land with a series of punches.
Sonnen forces Creyonte back against the cage and clinches.
Creyonte using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sonnen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sonnen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Creyonte has him pressed against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Creyonte is looking to advance position but Sonnen has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Sonnen lands a nice shot to the head.

Oh Creyonte is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sonnen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Ryan Sonnen has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sonnen postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Creyonte badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sonnen around the waist but Sonnen pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sonnen is the winner by TKO! Sonnen jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
