Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerzy Arlecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlecki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Undead. Trent comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sub Focus - Rock It kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trent rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Arlecki counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Trent scores with a kick to the midsection.
Trent throws a leg kick that is checked
and Arlecki counters with a leg kick.
Trent misses with the combination.
Ryan Trent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trent is looking to slow Arlecki down with leg kicks.
Trent throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Arlecki gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Trent throws a chopping leg kick but Arlecki manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Arlecki misses with a straight left.
Arlecki on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A looping hook to the body misses from Trent. Arlecki does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Arlecki counters by clinching up.
Arlecki lands a nice uppercut.
Trent throws a punch but it's blocked by Arlecki.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arlecki pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Trent misses with an elbow over the top.
Trent tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Arlecki avoids it.
Arlecki throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Trent blocks it with crossed arms.

Arlecki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Arlecki throws a low kick but Trent avoids it.
Crunch! Trent slams his shin into Arlecki's torso.
Trent misses with a leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Trent.

Arlecki takes one on the button.
Trent lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Trent blocks a head kick by Arlecki.
Good standup being displayed there by Trent as he connects with a hook.
Trent works Arlecki's body with a nice hook.
Arlecki swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Trent counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Arlecki is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Trent throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Arlecki stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Trent.
That kick from Trent tenderised Arlecki's leg. Arlecki is trying to keep his angry face on.
Trent does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Trent connects with a nice looking jab.
Arlecki avoids a punch combination nicely.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Trent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trent throws a nice outside leg kick.
Arlecki throws out a leg kick but Trent moves out of range and Arlecki only half commits.
Trent feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Arlecki's calf.
Trent chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Trent is looking to slow Arlecki down with leg kicks.
Trent tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Arlecki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Trent walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Arlecki checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Arlecki takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Arlecki is rocked!
Trent is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Arlecki had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Trent closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Arlecki! Trent dives in looking to finish! Arlecki is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
