Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simao Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Type blaring out of the sound system. Simao Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bryant closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Bryant gets to his feet - Silva follows without any prompting.

Bryant bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bryant uses his free foot to push down on Silva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silva.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Luke Bryant hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bryant tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bryant has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bryant is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silva looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bryant gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silva is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bryant lets go of the hold and Silva can pop his arm back in it's socket.
