Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rory Kincade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clifford Bridges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kincade comes to the cage accompanied by Good Rats. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rory Kincade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Clifford Bridges!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincade misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bridges.
Kincade swats away the attempt to clinch by Bridges.
Kincade misses with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kincade lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bridges has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bridges and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bridges scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kincade tries to buck Bridges off but Bridges is having none of it.
Bridges is putting a hurting on Kincade here, landing some big shots from side control.
Kincade is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kincade is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kincade wants to control but Bridges is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bridges throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kincade gets back to full guard.
Bridges throws a strike but Kincade rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bridges is looking to stand up but Kincade isn't so interested in that idea.
Kincade is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Kincade wants to pass the guard but Bridges is keeping the position.
Bridges wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kincade manages to pass to side control.
Kincade tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bridges knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kincade is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
You get the feeling that Bridges really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bridges is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kincade is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bridges to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bridges shrugs it off.

Kincade with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kincade won't let Bridges get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kincade landing strikes from the mount and Bridges is in trouble!
Kincade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bridges really wants to buck Kincade off and get back to his feet.

Kincade has control of Bridges's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bridges regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kincade won't let Bridges get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kincade cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bridges is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Kincade is working for a guillotine from mount but Bridges frees his head quite easily.

Kincade lands a big shot there that rocks Bridges but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kincade won't let Bridges get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Bridges is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rory Kincade dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kincade swats away the attempt to clinch by Bridges.

Kincade avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bridges doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kincade counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kincade shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kincade on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kincade tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bridges was well out of range. Poor timing from Kincade.

Kincade loads up on a big right hand but Bridges slips the punch.

Kincade looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bridges is trying to stand back up but Kincade is controlling him
Kincade seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bridges does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bridges is trying to escape back to his feet but Kincade uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Kincade has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Bridges's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Kincade is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Bridges is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bridges is bucking up trying to escape but Kincade cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bridges is still in real trouble! Can Kincade finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big strike lands for Kincade! That's really hurt Bridges and he's turned his back - Kincade keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kincade jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
