Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Mclean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mclean's choice of entrance music: Oasis - F**king in the bushes. Lenny Mclean looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Hannibal Lecter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lenny Mclean!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lecter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mclean looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Lecter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mclean has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mclean is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Lecter tries for a kimura but Mclean is defending well.

Lecter is trying to get an arm triangle but Mclean is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lecter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lecter working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Lecter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mclean, who protects the arm well.

Lecter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lecter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lecter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mclean knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lecter tries for a kimura but Mclean is defending well.
Mclean is not content to let Lecter control the position.

Lecter is trying to get an arm triangle but Mclean is defending well.

You can see the frustration on Mclean's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lecter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lecter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mclean is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lecter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mclean's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lecter postures up.
Mclean keeping moving, preventing Lecter from controlling successfully.
Mclean utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lecter forces his way into half guard.

Lecter is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lecter works his foot free and advances to mount.
Mclean is breathing heavily.

Lecter is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mclean is surviving well by controlling Lecter's body position as best he can.

Lecter looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Lecter moves to the back.
Mclean really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lecter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mclean is in a bad position with Lecter working for a choke. Mclean manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Lecter is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Mclean tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lecter avoids it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mclean lands an uppercut.

Mclean escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mclean stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mclean wants it to stay on the feet.
Decent striking displayed by Mclean there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lecter is defended easily by Mclean.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lecter shoots for a double leg takedown but Mclean sprawls well. He's pushed Lecter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hannibal Lecter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mclean, as that shot connected.

Mclean gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lecter has gone for a leg lock! Mclean slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lecter's guard.
Lecter has his hands on Mclean's head, controlling the position.
Lecter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lecter is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hannibal Lecter.
Lecter walks into a left hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck for Lecter with that takedown attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mclean throws a hook to the side of Lecter's head but Lecter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hannibal Lecter dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Lecter fails to land the takedown.
Mclean misses with an uppercut.
Lecter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mclean throws a hook but Lecter blocks it.

Mclean takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lecter goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mclean rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lecter's guard! Nice work there by Mclean!

Lecter looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mclean is sitting in close to Lecter's body. Lecter has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mclean is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mclean is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lecter.
