Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke Nukem looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mir is keen to just control but Nukem is a slippery customer.
Mir could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nukem is trying to get back to full guard.
Mir works his way into full mount!
Nukem has given up his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nukem can't escape the position.
Nukem is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Mir off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Mir has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Mir is punishing Nukem with strikes - can he finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nukem tries to escape but Mir has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Nukem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mir is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Nukem has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Mir has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Nukem taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Mir doesn't care though - he's delighted!
