Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jeter. Cross does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jeter closes the distance and clinches.
Jeter has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cross clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Cross tries to break free.
Jeter is trying to stick to Cross's back but Cross is turning into Jeter. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jeter's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Cross.
Jeter has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cross off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Jeter rushes Cross and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jeter has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cross clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cross breaks Jeter's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Cross is looking to stand up but Jeter won't let him.
Jeter throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Jeter working a defensive guard but Cross passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cross has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jeter defend it? Cross steps over the head and cranks it - Jeter is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cross!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Wess Cross!
