The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bravo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Peck swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Peck looks for a takedown but bravo sprawls well.
bravo fails with the takedown

and Peck counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
bravo trying to keep a closed guard but Peck is proving a slippery customer.
Peck sitting in guard here, content to control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
bravo can't keep his opponent in guard - Peck advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Peck looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Peck seems to be looking for submissions.

Still in half guard, Peck seems content to control.
Peck wants to take a breather but bravo is having none of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Brody Peck just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Peck jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but bravo manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Peck is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, bravo has escaped the position, nice work there.

Peck fails to land a wild elbow strike.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

bravo pushes Peck up against the cage in a clinch.
bravo stops a takedown attempt from Peck.

bravo successfully pulls guard.

Peck drops back looking for a leg! bravo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and bravo manages to kick Peck off! Peck jumps back into bravo's guard.
bravo wants to stand up but Peck is controlling him.

Peck scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Peck advances nicely into full mount.
bravo is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Peck has taken his back.
bravo trying to control the hands but Peck breaks the grip.

Peck is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but bravo has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
bravo rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
bravo is refusing to be controlled, as Peck sits in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Peck seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

bravo wants to get back to his feet.
bravo throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peck working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Peck wants to take a breather but bravo is having none of it.
Peck wants to pass to mount but bravo is defending the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Peck drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Peck wants to control but bravo is keeping him busy.

Peck has hold of bravo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. bravo seems comfortable defending it but Peck has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! bravo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! bravo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Peck couldn't care less - he's delighted!
