Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yury Vesnev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiedis has chosen Tupac as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yury Vesnev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Kiedis!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vesnev catches Kiedis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Vesnev misses with a jab to the body
and Kiedis makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Vesnev really felt that one!
That kick from Kiedis tenderised Vesnev's leg. Vesnev is trying to keep his angry face on.
Vesnev connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Johnny Kiedis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiedis tries a low kick but Vesnev avoids it.

No joy there for Vesnev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vesnev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kiedis can pounce on him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round but I would say that Yury Vesnev will probably get the nod.
That's time! Vesnev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Vesnev tries to close the distance and clinch but Kiedis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kiedis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Vesnev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kiedis tries to avoid it but Vesnev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kiedis to the ground. Kiedis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Vesnev checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yury Vesnev.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vesnev, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
