Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jupiter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Tessier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Brownstone. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones has closed the distance and engaged Tessier in a clinch.
Tessier is trying to pull guard but Jones has him pressed against the cage.

Jones throws a head punch that misses.
Jones throws an elbow but it misses.
Jones misses with a short punch on the inside.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones throws a chopping leg kick but Tessier manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tessier.
Jones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tessier checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Jones counters with a nice leg kick.
Tessier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Tessier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tessier throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Tessier closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Tessier pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jupiter Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cole Tessier.

Jupiter Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones leaves Tessier with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Tessier has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
