Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolfo Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Guy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vieira's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vieira is on top in guard.

Guy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lucky Guy.

Guy shoots for a takedown but Vieira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Guy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guy wants it to stay on the feet.

Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vieira on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rodolfo Vieira hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Guy throws a push kick but Vieira slaps the foot to one side.
Guy doesn't manage to clinch there - Vieira circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vieira has an Americana. Guy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Vieira is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Vieira hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
