Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelo Bowser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorda Splash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelo Bowser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorda Splash!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Splash tries to close the distance and clinch but Bowser swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Splash cracks Bowser with a good jab.
Bowser misses the shot to the body.
Splash with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Splash lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Kelo Bowser has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Splash fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bowser, pushing him back against the cage.

Splash drops Bowser with a big knee straight up the middle! Bowser is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Bowser is rocked!
Splash stuffs the takedown attempt from Bowser. Bowser gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Bowser is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Splash throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bowser seems to have got his legs back now.
Bowser is trying hard to land a takedown here. Splash sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Splash rushes Bowser and presses him up against the cage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Bowser avoiding damage as Splash throws knees to the body.
Bowser jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Splash walks away with a smile on his face. Bowser gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelo Bowser. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bowser dives in and grabs Splash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Splash pushes down on Bowser's head and hops out.
Bowser tries to close the distance and clinch up but Splash swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Bowser counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Splash landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Bowser is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Splash lands an uppercut.
Splash connects with a knee to the head.
Splash content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Splash continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Splash lands an elbow that stopped Bowser in his tracks for a moment.
Bowser is trying to pull guard but Splash has him pressed against the cage.

Splash passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Splash is looking to take a break and control but Bowser is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Splash decides to stand back up. Splash steps back and let's Bowser get back to his feet.

Splash tightens his grip and picks Bowser up, before dumping him to the ground. Bowser manages to land in guard.
Splash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bowser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Splash is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bowser is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Splash defends well.
Splash's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Splash throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Splash utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Splash lands with a left to the head.

Jorda Splash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Splash has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
