The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wattson darts in and clinches Slaughterhouse up against the cage.
Slaughterhouse pushes off an throws an elbow but Wattson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Wattson jumps into guard, dragging Slaughterhouse to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Wattson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Slaughterhouse has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Slaughterhouse!
