Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane MacLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane MacLain!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - MacLain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jim Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacLain doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
MacLain tries for a takedown. No joy.
MacLain tries to stall but Miller uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
MacLain drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jim Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacLain.

Miller gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
MacLain punching from the bottom.
MacLain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miller is working away from the top position though.
Miller is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Miller lands a heavy elbow.
Miller lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miller with shots to the head and body - MacLain looks very uncomfortable down there.
Miller wants to control the pace but MacLain is squirming around nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Miller jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but MacLain manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Miller grinds an elbow into MacLain's temple.
Miller lands a few punches from side control.
MacLain is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MacLain is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
MacLain tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it.
MacLain tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Miller landing strikes from the mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Miller looking for a guillotine from mount but MacLain is having none of it.
Miller landing strikes from the mount and MacLain is in trouble!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miller postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt MacLain bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Miller and the fight is over!
