The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels looks for a takedown but Cuaresma Iiii sprawls well.
Michaels misses with a few strikes there.
Cuaresma Iiii tries to close the distance and clinch but Michaels swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cuaresma Iiii with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Michaels to score with a decent uppercut.
Sloppy strikes from Michaels. Those never looked like landing.
Cuaresma Iiii wants to clinch up but Michaels keeps it at a distance.

Michaels moves away from the strike by Cuaresma Iiii.

It looks like Pol Cuaresma Iiii has been cut.
Michaels drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cuaresma Iiii preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Michaels is looking to work some ground and pound but Cuaresma Iiii has wrist control.
Cuaresma Iiii is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cuaresma Iiii looks up at the clock. Bad move! Michaels lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cuaresma Iiii. Michaels pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
