Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Sharpie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharpie has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Sharpie!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sharpie tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sharpie to the ground. Sharpie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sharpie looks winded!
Sharpie throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Green gets a double leg takedown into Sharpie's guard.
Sharpie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Green trying to control but Sharpie is working from the bottom.
Green working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sharpie can't keep his opponent in guard - Green advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Green working the head and body with strikes.
Green is looking for a kimura but Sharpie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Green to get the leverage.
Green is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Green landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Green wants to free his trapped foot but Sharpie is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Green has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sharpie defend it? Green steps over the head and cranks it - Sharpie is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Green!
