Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Djoser Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Mastain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei tries to score with a low kick but Mastain moves his leg out of the way.
Mastain looks to land a left hand but Rei moved out of range nicely.
Rei jabs Mastain to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rei throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mastain ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mastain moves into the clinch successfully.
Rei throws a punch but it's blocked by Mastain.
Mastain struggles to land a body shot inside as Rei controls his hands.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mastain creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Rei on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mastain. Mastain obviously looking to wear him down.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mastain. Rei does a little dance to reset his feet.

Mastain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mastain fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rei has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rei looks for the body kick but Mastain saw that one coming.
Mastain changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Mastain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Mastain lands a nice shot to the body.

Rei moves away from the strike by Mastain.
Rei throws a lazy right hand but Mastain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rei gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mastain throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rei counters with a big head kick but Mastain shrugs it off.
Rei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rei lands a head kick!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mastain connects with a body shot that sends Rei's belly button to the back.
Rei tries to land a front kick but Mastain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rei misses with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Mastain dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mastain digs a right hand into Rei's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rei's gas tank.
Mastain throws a punch but it's blocked by Rei.
Mastain tries to throw a body punch but Rei avoids it by throwing Mastain back against the cage.
Mastain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Djoser Rei is winning the standup battle so far.

Mastain scores with a sloppy right hand. Rei should have avoided that one.

Mastain pushes Rei against the cage. Mastain is working some dirty boxing. Mastain pushes off with a quick right hook! Rei goes down! Rei tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Mastain moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Dave Mastain tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
