Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Miletich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miletich has chosen Canibus- 2nd Round Knockout as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pat Miletich!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rogers doesn't manage to clinch there - Miletich circles away.
Rogers tries to clinch up.
Miletich takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rogers connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogers lands with a nice body punch.

Rogers gets a clinch.

Miletich has picked Rogers up - he's going for a ride! Miletich dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rogers gets back to full guard.
Miletich trying to control but Rogers is working from the bottom.

Rogers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miletich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rogers looking for a guillotine here but Miletich defends easily.

Rogers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miletich is aware though and is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Miletich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rogers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miletich has managed to get both his arms back between Rogers's legs - danger averted.
Miletich works over Rogers with some ground and pound from guard.
Miletich postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Miletich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rogers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rogers looking for a guillotine here but Miletich defends easily.
Miletich throws a big right hand that misses.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Miletich stands up over Rogers, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Miletich landing some decent shots from guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miletich is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Miletich postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Miletich wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Miletich is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rogers is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Miletich has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rogers to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Miletich is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rogers pulls down on the head and he's put Miletich to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Steve Rogers!
A pretty intense looking Steve Rogers took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
