The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullet misses with a lunging right hand

and Thomas moves into the clinch.
Bullet wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Thomas wants the takedown. Bullet is fighting it off but Thomas persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bullet's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Thomas passes Bullet's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Thomas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bullet with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
