Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fedor Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Liddell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kang displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Liddell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kang fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Liddell fails to land with a series of punches.
Kang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Liddell counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kang scoring well with a low kick there.
Liddell moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kang fails with the takedown
and Liddell counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Kang counters with a left and a right that stings Liddell.

and Kang counters with a shoot takedown. Liddell fights it but they end up in guard.
Liddell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Liddell wants to stand and escape but Kang is having none of it.
Liddell has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Liddell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kang is controlling him.
Liddell pulls Kang in to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Liddell is proving hard to escape from.
Liddell has his hands on Kang's head, controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Liddell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Liddell pushes Kang off and scrambles back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuck Liddell dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


A good leg kick by Kang.
Liddell loads up on a big right hand but Kang slips the punch.
Kang misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fedor Kang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kang throws a one two combo.
Liddell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Liddell jabs at Kang's body.
Kang fails with the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Liddell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kang falls off balance throwing a combination
and Liddell makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Liddell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Kang counters with a three punch combo that has Liddell backing up. Liddell nods at Kang to acknowledge the strikes.
Liddell scores with a nice body kick.
Liddell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Liddell lands a head kick!

Liddell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Liddell lands a brutal head kick. Kang looks out on his feet and Liddell throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
