Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Franco Arce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genki Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Franco Arce has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Franco Arce seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arce swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ninja just misses with a punch to the body.

Ninja shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Ninja shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Arce's guard.

Arce is controlling an arm, preventing Ninja from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Ninja is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Ninja is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Arce defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Ninja really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Arce.

Ninja is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Arce knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Arce for a finish.

Ninja fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Arce looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Arce gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ninja advances to half guard.

Ninja is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Arce is looking to escape.
Ninja wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arce keeps working.

Ninja passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Arce!

Ninja is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Arce is surviving well by controlling Ninja's body position as best he can.
Ninja wants to control the pace but Arce is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arce wants to try and get back to his feet.
Ninja moves to the back position.
Ninja lands with a hammerfist to the side of Arce's head.
Arce is trying to get back to his feet but Ninja has full control of the position and if anything, Arce has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
