Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Shatner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiser Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sosa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fantasy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kiser Sosa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shatner swats away the attempt to clinch by Sosa.

Sosa closes the distance and clinches up with Shatner , looking for a takedown. Sosa pushes Shatner against the cage but Shatner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sosa drops his hands momentarily and Shatner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Shatner is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Shatner connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sosa's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
