Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demitri Borschtanoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Zam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borschtanoff comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zam swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A chopping leg kick lands by Borschtanoff.

Zam fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Borschtanoff closes the distance and clinches.

Borschtanoff turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Borschtanoff closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zam's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Borschtanoff counters with a good low kick that Zam was not able to check.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like Scott Zam has been cut.

Borschtanoff darts in and clinches Zam up against the cage.

Borschtanoff turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Borschtanoff manages to end up in side control.

Demitri Borschtanoff overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Zam is looking to take a break and control but Borschtanoff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Zam prevents Borschtanoff from standing back up.
Borschtanoff is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zam's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zam's back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
You can see the frustration on Zam's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Zam is having to fend off submission attempts from Borschtanoff, who is looking to sink in the choke. Borschtanoff doesn't have the hooks in though and Zam manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Demitri Borschtanoff showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Borschtanoff has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
