The crowd seem to be enjoying Souza's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fighters circling - Souza throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Souza throws a shot from downtown. Bensmock moves away and avoids it.
Chicharito Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Souza fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bensmock on the side of the head.
Souza takes a jab right on the kisser.
Souza throws a poor cross that misses
and Bensmock counters with a head kick. That will keep Souza thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Souza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Chicharito Souza has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bensmock throws a sloppy head kick and Souza moves out of range easily.
The crowd cheers as Bensmock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Souza doesn't seem phased though.
Bensmock connects with a looping right hand.
Souza misses with a right hand
and Bensmock counters with an outside leg kick.
Souza throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bensmock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Souza misses with a looping right.
Souza throws a hook but Bensmock avoids it easily.
Bensmock scores with a sloppy right hand. Souza should have avoided that one.
Souza misses with a left hand
and Souza takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Souza is rocked!
Bensmock slips under a jab from Souza.
Souza is still on wobbly legs! Can Bensmock finish him?
Bensmock throws a front kick that sends Souza stumbling back into the cage.
Souza throws a poor cross that misses
and Bensmock counters with a nice low kick that buckles Souza's knee momentarily.
and Bensmock counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Souza! He's just covering up as Bensmock starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
