The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills moves in looking to clinch but Kuukeri pushes him off.

Mills has had enough of the clinch but Kuukeri keeps him there for the moment.
Mills lands a nice shot to the body.

Mills tries to break free but Kuukeri pushes him back against the cage.

Kuukeri pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kuukeri throws a head kick but Mills moves out of range.

Kuukeri throws the left hand but Mills avoids the punch easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kuukeri pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mills back to the cage. Kuukeri follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Kuukeri closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kuukeri is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mills sees it coming and defends easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
