Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hulk Smash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Te Huna!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash shoots in for a takedown but Te Huna shows good takedown defense.
Te Huna connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smash's hands.
Te Huna connects with a crisp jab.
Te Huna waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smash.
Te Huna dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Te Huna bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Te Huna takes a little break here. Smash wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Smash sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smash makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Smash.
Smash looking to hit a scissor sweep but Te Huna is one step ahead there.
Te Huna stops Smash from standing up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smash tries to strike from the bottom.
Te Huna scoring with some ground and pound.
Smash pulls Te Huna in close to prevent any damage.
Te Huna looking to sit in guard and control but Smash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Smash trying to control the position from guard on top but Te Huna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Te Huna controls Smash momentarily but Smash frees himself.
Smash throws a big elbow that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smash missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Te Huna working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Smash.
Smash throwing strikes but missing.
Smash in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Te Huna is trying to control the position but Smash postures up.
Smash looking to pass the guard.
Smash scoring with some ground and pound.
Smash distracts Te Huna with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smash connects with a couple of short punches.
Smash might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Smash content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Te Huna avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Smash missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Smash's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Smash lands a couple of digs.
Smash throws a strike but Te Huna rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Smash wants to stand and escape but Te Huna is having none of it.
Te Huna trying to control the position from guard on top but Smash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Smash trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Smash has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Smash wants to stand up but Te Huna is controlling him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Smash manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Smash with a couple of short strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smash landing strikes from the mount and Te Huna is in trouble!
Smash in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Te Huna takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


Te Huna is rocked!
Smash unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Te Huna wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Smash celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
