Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jean Cerien!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coll rushes Cerien and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cerien has had enough of the clinch but Coll keeps him there for the moment.
Cerien throws an elbow but it misses.
Coll has Cerien pushed against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cerien just misses with a elbow thrown towards Coll's brow.
Coll works on Cerien's body with a couple of short punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cerien.

Cerien pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cerien buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Coll tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cerien uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Coll.
Coll walks into a stiff left hand from Cerien.
Coll uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cerien.
Cerien scores with the left hand. Coll knows he should have avoided that one.
No luck for Cerien with that takedown attempt.
Cerien throws a head kick that misses.
Cerien throws a right hand that misses

and Coll counters by moving into the clinch.

Cerien blocks a body shot from Coll.
Cerien pushes off an throws an elbow but Coll leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Coll tries to land a knee to the head but Cerien blocks with his arms.

Cerien escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coll lands with a thumping leg kick.
Coll pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Coll's corner calls for a 1-2. Coll obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Vincent Coll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cerien darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Coll looks for the body kick but Cerien saw that one coming.
Coll scores with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cerien pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Horrible takedown by Cerien or perhaps it was just good defense by Coll which made him look bad.
Cerien fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Coll fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cerien looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Coll scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Jean Cerien has been cut.
Coll's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Coll has Cerien pressed against the cage.

Cerien tries to land knees in the clinch but Coll avoids the damage to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cerien lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Coll is pushing Cerien up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Coll lands a big head kick that sends Cerien tumbling to the mat! Coll takes a step backwards and waves Cerien back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cerien is still on wobbly legs! Can Coll finish him?
Coll misses with a wild body shot.
Coll throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Coll connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Cerien! He's out on his feet! Coll rushes in and drops Cerien with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vincent Coll!
In his post fight interview, Vincent Coll started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
