Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calypso comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Uppercut has chosen I present to you; The Amazing Human Being as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Calypso!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lance Uppercut!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uppercut throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Uppercut tried to score with a low kick but Calypso checks it.
Uppercut misses with a body shot

and Calypso counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Uppercut looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Uppercut avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Calypso.
Calypso seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Uppercut does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Calypso wants to free his trapped foot but Uppercut is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Calypso prevents Uppercut from improving his position.
Calypso drops an elbow to the side of Uppercut's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Uppercut trying to control but Calypso postures up.
Uppercut works his way to full guard. Good work.
Calypso loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Calypso trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Uppercut not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Calypso stopping the sweep attempt from Uppercut.
Calypso makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Uppercut working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Calypso.
Calypso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Calypso preventing the sweep.
Uppercut is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Uppercut had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Calypso defends it easily.
Uppercut lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Calypso!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Uppercut is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Calypso can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Calypso sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Uppercut is trying to control. Calypso wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Calypso is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Uppercut's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Uppercut's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Calypso has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Calypso scores with strikes from the back.
Even with his hooks in, Calypso manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Uppercut tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Calypso trying to control but Uppercut is having none of it.
Uppercut tries to lock up and control but Calypso gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

It looks like Lance Uppercut has been cut.
Calypso scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Uppercut?
Calypso prevents Uppercut from getting the reversal.
Calypso avoids the attempt from Uppercut to control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Calypso lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.


Uppercut is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Uppercut tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Calypso breaks from Uppercut's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Uppercut is still in real trouble! Can Calypso finish him?


The cut above Lance Uppercut's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Calypso fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!


Lance Uppercut's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lance Uppercut's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jack Calypso!
Jack Calypso is the new super heavyweight champion!
