Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tasos Ieronymakis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, John Smith!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Smith moves out of range as Ieronymakis strikes.
Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ieronymakis shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Smith throws a lazy head kick

and Ieronymakis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Smith's guard now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ieronymakis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tasos Ieronymakis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ieronymakis.
A slapping leg kick lands for Smith.

Ieronymakis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith blocks the body kick.

Smith clinches.
Smith misses with a punch to the body.
Ieronymakis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Smith manages to break the clinch.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Ieronymakis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smith misses with an uppercut.
Ieronymakis misses with a wild body shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Smith lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ieronymakis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ieronymakis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Smith tries to clinch but Ieronymakis moves away
and Ieronymakis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ieronymakis lands a brutal head kick. Smith looks out on his feet and Ieronymakis throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Tasos Ieronymakis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
