Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Mcarthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balance Neut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neut is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: We're Not Gonna Take It. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcarthur looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Neut avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mcarthur takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Neut scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Neut connects with a body shot that sends Mcarthur's belly button to the back.

Mcarthur tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Neut manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Neut misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mcarthur moves in looking to clinch but Neut pushes him off.

Neut shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mcarthur eats them both and turns towards Neut to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Neut counters with a series of strikes. Mcarthur will be more careful next time no doubt.

Neut throws a leg kick but Mcarthur checks it.

Neut cracks Mcarthur with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Neut lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mcarthur circles away quickly and effectively.

Neut throws a leg kick which misses Mcarthur's front leg but catches the back leg as Mcarthur tries to avoid it.

Mcarthur tries to close the distance and clinch up but Neut swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mcarthur closes the distance and clinches up with Neut, looking for a takedown. Mcarthur pushes Neut against the cage but Neut circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nice straight punches there by Neut. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Neut.

Neut swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mcarthur walks forward, straight into a front kick from Neut.
Mcarthur lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mcarthur shoots in looking for a takedown but Neut manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mcarthur's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mcarthur checks a leg kick.
Neut lands with a straight right. Mcarthur didn't see that one coming.
Neut throws a right and a left that both miss.
Neut scores with a three punch combo!
Mcarthur slips a jab and a cross from Neut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mcarthur crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Neut - the referee stops the clock and Mcarthur gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Neut. Mcarthur manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A left and a right from Neut both land. Nice combination.
Neut will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neut misses with a few strikes there.

Neut lands with a nice combination. Mcarthur backs away looking to recover.
Neut feints a jab promting Mcarthur to slip. Neut then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mcarthur slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Mcarthur shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Neut manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Mcarthur postures up and lands a big shot to Neut's brow.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Neut has control of Mcarthur's left arm, preventing Mcarthur from doing any damage.

Mcarthur slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Mcarthur creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neut is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcarthur wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Neut, who protects the arm well.
