Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Irvin Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Orduson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Harlem Shake. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orduson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ross, pushing him back against the cage.
Ross goes for a takedown in the clinch but Orduson prevents it.
Ross tries to break free but Orduson pushes him back against the cage.

Orduson manages to break the clinch.
Orduson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ross circles away.
Ross stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ross wants it to stay on the feet.
Ross throws a series of punches but Orduson moves out of range.
Orduson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ross.
Ross dives in and grabs Orduson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orduson pushes down on Ross's head and hops out.

Ross leaves Orduson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Orduson is defended easily by Ross.

Ross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Orduson was well out of range. Poor timing from Ross.

Ross avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ross lands a couple of decent looking shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ross accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orduson wants to sweep but no luck.
Ross is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Ross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Orduson on the ground.

Orduson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ross can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Orduson pushes Ross off looking to stand but Ross dives back in and keeps control.
Ross slips a nice elbow through Orduson's hands, connecting with Orduson's forehead.

Orduson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ross scores with a couple of nice shots.
Ross wants to free his trapped foot but Orduson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Ross winds up and cracks Orduson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ross seems to be looking for submissions.
Orduson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Ross.

Orduson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ross is aware though and is defending well.

Orduson is looking for a triangle but Ross pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Ross's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Ross shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Orduson but Orduson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Irvin Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ross stuffs the takedown attempt from Orduson. Orduson gets slowly back to his feet.
Ross looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Orduson is fending him off so far but Ross persists. Nope, Orduson circles away and we're back to standing.

Orduson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Orduson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ross tries to avoid it but Orduson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ross to the ground. Ross escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Ross or perhaps it was just good defense by Orduson which made him look bad.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ross is trying to drag Orduson to the mat but Orduson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ross has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Orduson after a bit of a struggle.

Orduson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ross pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Ross is trying to escape back to his feet but Orduson uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Orduson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ross is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ross is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Orduson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Ross tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Orduson has hold of Ross's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ross manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Orduson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Ross is squirming around, avoiding Orduson's attempts to control the action.

Ross on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ross tries to get out of the position.

David Orduson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ross bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Orduson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Ross is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Orduson jumps into side control!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ross is trying to get back to his feet but Orduson has full control of the position and if anything, Ross has just worked his way into a worse spot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Orduson looking to break Ross's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ross remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Orduson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Irvin Ross.
I think Ross has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
