Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pele Landi Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomer Sapir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landi Jones comes to the ring accompanied by apache warrior. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Landi Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Landi Jones lands a glancing blow to the side of Sapir's head.
Sapir tries to clinch up.
Landi Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Sapir paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sapir's corner calls for a 1-2. Sapir obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Landi Jones cracks Sapir with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sapir wants to clinch up but Landi Jones keeps it at a distance.

Sapir looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Landi Jones is fending him off so far but Sapir persists. Nope, Landi Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
Landi Jones misses with a leg kick.
Landi Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sapir.
Landi Jones throws out a loose jab but Sapir uses good head movement to avoid it.
Landi Jones throws a push kick but Sapir slaps the foot to one side.

Sapir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Landi Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jose Pele Landi Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomer Sapir.

Sapir is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Landi Jones's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Landi Jones is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Sapir scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The referee warns Landi Jones that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sapir lands a big elbow.
Sapir won't let Landi Jones get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Sapir tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sapir should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Landi Jones is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Sapir's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Landi Jones has left one of his arms exposed and Sapir doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Landi Jones screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
