The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotaheimo tries a head kick but it misses.
Sotaheimo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sotaheimo just misses with a punch to the body.
Biles shoots in for a takedown but Sotaheimo shows good takedown defense.
Biles takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sotaheimo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Biles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Biles is defended easily by Sotaheimo.
Both fighters circling a little - Sotaheimo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
