McBain throws a head kick that misses.

Sved fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McBain manages to avoid it.
McBain misses with a wild body shot.
Sved throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Sved clinches up with McBain and pushes him back against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sved just misses with a elbow thrown towards McBain's brow.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter McBain will probably get the nod.

Svend Sved showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sved closes the distance and clinches up with McBain, looking for a takedown. Sved pushes McBain against the cage but McBain circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McBain lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McBain.

McBain has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sved is proving hard to escape from.

McBain is fighting to break Sved's control of his arms but Sved is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Peter McBain wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
