Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis wants to clinch but Moore slips to the side
and Moore counters with a thumping low kick.
Pettis lands a head kick. Moore smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Moore moves out of range of the body kick from Pettis.
Pettis closes the distance but Moore moves to the side
and Moore counters with a big head kick but Pettis shrugs it off.
Pettis tries to clinch up.
Pettis throws a head kick but Moore moves out of range.
Pettis fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Moore counters with a head kick.
Anthony Pettis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pettis is looking to clinch but Moore is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pettis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pettis doesn't manage to clinch there - Moore circles away.
Pettis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pettis is defended easily by Moore.
Pettis tries to clinch up but Moore circles away and keeps his distance.

Moore works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Moore is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Moore sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pettis's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pettis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moore swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pettis throws a sloppy head kick and Moore moves out of range easily.
Pettis stuns Moore with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
John Moore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pettis cracks Moore with a good jab.
Pettis keeps Moore at a distance using the push kick.
Moore avoids the body shot from Pettis.
Pettis fails with a takedown attempt.
John Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Pettis.

and Moore makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Pettis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Moore counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pettis's knee momentarily.
Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pettis wants to clinch but Moore slips to the side
and Moore counters with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Pettis or perhaps it was just good defense by Moore which made him look bad.
Pettis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Moore manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pettis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pettis wants to clinch.
Pettis tries to clinch but Moore moves away
and Moore counters with an outside leg kick.
Pettis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pettis rushes Moore and presses him up against the cage.
Pettis lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Moore or not.

Moore jumps guard.

Moore looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Pettis is defending well. Moore quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pettis has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Moore celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). John Moore!
